Valentine's Day Cheeseboard

Whether you're single, taken, I promise this cheeseboard will not let you down on Valentine's Day. It's perfect to eat with your homies, lovers, friends, whatever; plus it leaves plenty of room for wine and dessert!

Valentine's Day Cheeseboard

Serves 6

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. aged gouda (I used Trader Joe's 1000 Day Gouda)
  • 8 oz. brie (I used Trader Joe's Light Brie)
  • 8 oz. goat cheese (I used Silver Goat Chèvre - Garlic & Herb)
  • 1 french baguette
  • 1 box of Trader Joe's Fig & Olive Crisps
  • Red or green grapes
  • 1/4 cup fig jam (I used Trader Joe's Fig Butter)
  • 1/4 cup whole grain mustard
  • 1/2 cup roasted almonds

Optional Add-Ons

  • Sliced apples
  • Dried fruits
  • Other nuts such as cashews, pecans, walnuts
  • Meats such as sopressata, prosciutto, or a paté
  • Wine!
    • If you prefer white, try a Riesling or a Pinot Grigio
    • If you prefer red, try a Petite Sirah or a Cabernet Sauvignon (my favorite!)

Directions

  1. Slice the gouda into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Arrange everything on a large wooden cutting board or serving platter and serve with a few small spreaders. Turn on some music, pour some wine, and enjoy with your boo! Happy Valentine's Day!
